Mechanics is the branch of physical science that deals with the behavior of matter and energy, including the laws governing motion, forces, and energy. It is concerned with the effects that forces have on objects, and how these objects move and interact with each other. As such it's used to study and design the motion of robots, such as robowaifus, to analyse the forces and torques needed to move and control them, as well as the dynamics and kinematics of the robot's motion. Additionally, mechanics can be used to optimize a robot's design for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
