Computer vision is a branch of artificial intelligence that deals with how machines can analyse, interpret and understand visual data. It usually involves identifying shapes, recognizing objects and tracking motion. Robowaifus use computer vision to recognize people and interpret objects in their environment so they can interact with the world. Additionally, computer vision can be used to detect and recognize emotions, enabling robowaifus to respond to their owners in a more sociable way.
