Virtual reality (VR) is a simulated environment that can be similar or completely different to the real world. Applications of virtual reality include entertainment, education and business, such as video games, medical or military training, and virtual meetings. Other distinct types of VR-related technology include augmented reality, that enhances real world senses with computer generated senses, and mixed reality, that merges real and virtual worlds.
